For nearly a century Sterland have been actively involved in the timber, plumbing and building supplies industry. One of the reasons we have been successful is because we have always strived to be the best and to find better ways to do things.

Over 40 years ago the company’s founder; Maurice Sterland, had a vision. He dreamed of a system that would help manage his business and help his business to grow. When he couldn’t find a system to meet his timber and building business needs he set himself a mission to build his own.

This entrepreneurial and innovative spirit became a driving force at Sterland and has resulted in a company culture that encourages, values and actively promotes staff to innovate and find new and better ways to do things.
